- it is easier than I thought
- the following are the only times I have legit missed drinking: before/while writing papers for school and while cooking.
- with the money I have saved I have bought a lot of records. probably not the best idea for a poor graduate student. but whatever.
- I drink a lot of seltzer water.
- I have lost a lot of weight. it also helps that I have started swimming.
- I drink a lot of hot tea. mostly dandelion root tea.
- I am sleeping well/have more energy
- superstitions be damned: it is not helping the Phillies much.
- I take a lot of baths
(context: I gave up beer for baseball season because I don’t believe in god/fuck lent & because for (at least) the past five years I have been drinking too much)
